Interesting representation :o
Barfing trees never seemed possible to me, and then I found this :dummy:
In all seriousness, though, was there any specific meanings you wanted to give?

LOL
:) I just saw a lot of "Mother Earth" pieces recently, so I wanted to mix things up a bit
and make a Father Earth type of piece. Instead of having a male hold the Earth in his hands
or something that's been done before, I just thought I'd show his ties to Earth in a different way. That's all. Hehe.
Thanks for the comment!

This is a very cool piece. You did an incredible job with it. The sun hanging from the barbed wire almost has a dream catcher feel to it. I'm curious if there is any hidden metaphors in there you'd like to share. Like does the tree growing from the man represent anything specific?

Really well done!
The word "Abrupt" springs into my mind for some reason...

That is some intense photo manip work. I love the look of shock on his face as a tree is erupting from his mouth. Everything fits together so smoothly too. Great job! :D

This is a very curious photomanipulation, in a good way. I have no idea how you came up with this idea, but I wish I had as much imagination=D
At first I thought if the sun was a necessary element in this piece, but having a second look at everything... It does complement the man and the tree. It makes the composition more interesting and fills space well where there is a lot of it. I wonder if it'd looked even more interesting if the hmmm, barbed chain it's hanging on was partially in front of the tree rather than entirely behind it.
The pebbles around the man's face were a very good idea. They create the visual illusion that his mouth is bigger than it really is;) I also like that you placed some pebbles around his collar bone because it might've looked a little sill if there were only them around his mouth. I really like how you placed the, there. However, I can tell they're not a part of this picture. They... Kind of look like they've been pasted on a picture of the man rather than that they are a part of the picture. BUT I presume it's because they have different colors than the man and are more crisp in my opinion.

Overall, very nice piece:) You're very creative!

:) Wow, didn't expect such a large response. Thank you. And I agree with your comment on the pebbles!
Next time, i'll try to focus more on giving every part of the piece the same texture so that nothing particularly stands out
nor gets hidden.
